Hi guy's, just wondering if anyone around these boards knows about rebuilding fox rc's? I have a step by step guide and am well under way, but the amount of oil needed is still to be determined... I know it's 2.5wt, but now I need to know how much to use.. Of course each shock is different, so if anyone knows anyone who rebuilds these things (other than fox!) or has some info regarding oil levels, let me know.....Mine is a 7.5" eye to eye, 2 inch stroke unit....the only info fox would give out is that I should send it to them, if they give me any more info their liable for me hurting myself :nope: ..thank's for now.....>

How are you going to pressurize the shock with Nitrogen? I think that's why Fox said to return it to them or another certified repair/service center.

No worries on the nitrogen, I have that looked after, it's actually easier than this oil problem has been for me.... And what's this push, hippie tech? I'm not from around these part's, excuse my ignorance...

I was looking for where to set the puck's and have been given an approx position for now, I'll go with that.. Sorry I can't give out more, but there's guy's out there that make a little business out of this this kinda thing, I don't want to ruin it for them (I was asked to keep it quiet from the information provider)...

the ones ive rebuilt i put 7.5 in or 5wt in, depends, i slowed one down by putting 10 in it and it worked for the guy, kinda depends. not sure what fox says but my default is always 5wt
