I have a fox rc and the rebound (red) adjustment knob on the bottom just came out and fox wants 60-100 american dollars to fix the dam thing. is there any way i can fix it myself.
I don't think so. But if you're going to shell out the money, I'd recommend sending it to PUSH for the upgrade. Might as well spend the extra few bucks and get a better shock.
Push Industries do a rebuild on the Fox shox that is supposed to be a significant upgrade over even the new Pro-Pedal valving. It seems that they are so confident of their stable platform type valving that they disable the lock-out when they do their thing to your shock.
I would love to hear feedback from someone who has had this done to their shock. If it really is that great, I will get it done to my Float RL for next season.
Another thing is Fox will void your warranty if any the second you take it apart yourself. Shop i work at for the msot part jsut send them back. Sucks if you ask me cause i dig takin that stuff apart and fixxing it ft and rr shocks. Oh well.
the PUSH thing sounds intresting intrested in seein the feedback on that as well.
