does anyone have a not so macgyverish solution? :D
You gotta send that pup back in. The shock body needs to be replaced, there isn't enough material to hold the circlip in (either a design or manufacturing defect).

Did it take a chunk out of the body where the circlip used to be?

This is becoming quite an issue, I have seen 2 do it personally, but I have not heard an official response from Fox. Definately a problem.

I look at mine everyday hoping it stays together.

I saw Sirridealot's RC4 fix and called up Fox to ask them if they knew about the problem and were replacing resy. bodies or anything. The guy on the line sounded pretty ignorant and said no; but that if there were any problems with Fox products they would have to be sent in to be evaluated. Nice to have $600 shocks failing, eh?

What kind of use did you guys who have had failures put your RC4s through?

half of thethe circlip that holds my rc4 hsc/lsc dials in came out, I tried to put it back but it came out again. (only half of it comes out) maybe the groove thad holds the circlip has some kind of rubbish that doesnt let it hold the circlip right? (its a 2011 unit¡¡!!!)
