Hi all,

What's the best frame bumper solution for a dorado fork? I've seen those doornops sticking on your frame. I've seen some pieces of rubber on it? But does anybody know a professional way to fix it.

Is used to prefent the fork to slam into the frame!

DMR if they are still around I think made fork bumpers. You could always contact Answer direct and get some. Shouldn't be much.

I've seen grips cut around, inner tubes, old tires, pretty much anything that you can use to give it cushion if it were to slap against the frame. I know some companies (lizard skins, woodman) sell neoprene guards that are like those rubber bumpers for $9-15 online I've seen them. The DMR ones were like $10-12 I think. It was a while ago I got mine so who knows if they are still selling them.

Being a dorado, I'd just call Answer and ask them, that'd be the best course to take with the least amount of headaches :)

somewhere really ****ty
one good thing to do is you know those sticky things you put on the bottom of furnature to not scratch up wood floor. stick 2 of those on to the side of your frame where it would hit.

The sticky things for cupboards are pretty good and they come in packs of 6 or 8 or so. Little square or round, soft clear rubber. I've gone through an entire package of them because I always lose one or two when I take my bike out of the car.

The thing that best fit my Dorado were car mufflers rubber rings. They use that to avoid noise made by the car muffler hitting the botton of the car. They are small rubber rings and you will find them in any car mufflers shop.

I highly doubt they're still around..even when the website was up you couldn't contact them.

Ha, I saw one guy use pieces of carpet wrapped up with duct tape as fork guards!!
