I kind of want to see it, but I must admit it looks lame. Did anyone say anything in antiquity without yelling? Geez....

Sin City was ultra-lame (even though this has a different director and such, the sucking might carry over).

I think that Thermopylae is one of the most alluring stories there is in history, so I hope they don't blow it. I don't think that, done right, it is a story that needs a ton of special effects, over-dramatization and all of that. Perhaps because I've read Herodotus, studied ancient history and ancient Greek, I'm just looking for things to go wrong...

...then again, they got a Brazilian guy to play Xerxes.....

I thought Sin City was brilliant, because it was straight out of the dime-store comic books. this trailer made the movie look more like an action movie as opposed to a direct interpretation. oh well, will probably see it anyway. :happydance:
