So i was given an older GT steel frame today and so far i have two cheap ass hubs, a Suntour fork and a set of Deore brakes. Planning on Posting Pics later once it is ridable. Plan is to use as many throw away parts as i can and peice together the usable parts. So looking for ideas on Stuff that would be considered usable and such, also to hear about other Frank bikes people have built up

haha! Thats awesome, make sure to use a professional fit system for his first custom bike. You don't want to run into fit issues later, THIS I KNOW.

I have a trek 4900 with nothing but spare parts bolted to it. Mostly scavenged Deore, with some tektro crap. Old Rhyno lites with the rim brake surface and some disk hubs. With some work I could make her into a really good XC hardtail.
