I have the chance of buying a older free agent limo 24" cruiser. It is the one with the 1 piece crank. It would only be 40 bucks out of my pocket. Is it worth it?

how old. is it one of the sweet red a pearl white ones?

With the color stickers you described it sounds like an older Ambush 24. It will probably do fine to get you started in bmx but it was not designed to be a burly dirt jumper. Have fun with it cause for $40 you can't go wrong.

i once bought a 20 inch bike from a friend for 40 bucks. i rode the piss out of it as a commuter and even learned some flatland stuff on it which was cool to. we used it for pond jumps (ultra fun i might add) and everyting inbetween. even fashioned some little skis for it that bolted in place of the wheels so we could rip in the snow. i sold that bike a couple of years later for 40 bucks to a friend. it is still looming around my old college campus as a borrow bike. hope that helps ya some on makin your decision.
