I need something to play around on, something similar to photoshop or ms paint where I can play around with making logo's and such. Im on a mac and haven't found much and there isn't anything remotely usable on OSX, Appleworks is the closest ive found but that program can burn it sucks so bad. So does anyone know of anything in terms of what I am looking for?

Thanks, Dan

You could try Graphic converter. It has a nice shareware license that lets you use it alot. It's got a lot going on, but illustrator would be way better. If you google "Adobe illustrator cracks" you'll probably be able to find a copy of it.

Listen to Wes! If you want to be serious about making a versatile logo that will work in all mediums, you want it to be vector based (ie: Illustrator)... Industry standard is Adobe Illustrator but there are a couple other options CorelDraw (more used in the sign industry), and Macromedia Freehand (now discountinued as Adobe purchased Macromedia and streamlined Freehand features into Illustrator)...
