So for those of you that still ride uphill, you should check this out: http://www.go-ride.com/artmag_frtires.html . Kris has been working on this little review thing for almost two months, and it offers a pretty good (and unbiased, as they're all tires we sell a lot of) comparison between what we consider to be the best performing tires available. So yeah, check it out yo.
Do any of you guys use the White Tiger for FR/Trail?

Also, how would these ratings compare with say the IRC Kujo(my reference tire) for FR/Trail?

I tried the white tiger on whistler mountain for about 2 weeks. I bought the bike with this on the front and 60% bald...thing still hooked up great even that badly worn. Would love to try on with no wear.

Great reviews...

Have you tried the Kenda Kinetic (tacky)?
I've been using a cheap pair for a while now, and they have been working GREAT. I'd like to see how they compare to the Nevegal.

the Tiger is a bit heavy for this category,a DH tire.it has great traction, but rolls REALLY slow-paddle tire.
I rocked the kinetic for a while.Great rubber(same as Nevegal) but the traction was so so.Fast rolling but the knobs are a bit big/flat,they non't penetrate like the Nevegal.Basically if you like your Kinetic you will really like the nevegal.

llkoolkeg, jason duckworth aka mrbigisbudgood used the white tigers when they first came out he said they were slow as hell but hooked up great. He used to run them at wintergreen at decently high pressure succesfully.

agree with all the others on the Tigers. Both my boys ride them on their Stinkys and they hook up awesome....just slow as hell rolling. BTW, the review of the Nevegal is spot on. I had that tire on the back of my ID and it is an awesome tire...notice the word "had". Thats cuz there aint enough room in the friggin swingarm yoke and the sucka rubs, so I had to take it off - friggin Moto raptor is just WEAK compared to the Nevagal....

White Tigers are a great DH tire, grip-wise, but somehow they manage to be heavy and slow-rolling, yet prone to pinchflats. They also wear out WAY too fast, like every Tioga I've tried. I do like White Tigers at Big Bear, but prefer Michelins altogether.

I really want to hear from some Comp 24.1 Lite users. Sub-1000g, with the same tread of my favorite tire ever... I just worry I'd flat them a ton, even just trailriding...I'm the flat MASTER.

White Tigers are the best gripping tire ive ever used, but yes, they wear out very fast, and the casing is kinda wimpy compared to other tires. I havent seen any in a long time, probably because they come on very few bikes OEM. (konas maybe?) More of an aftermarket tire

What I'd like to find is a tire like the Intense FRO 2.7 that just isn't so wide...say about a 2.3. They are my favorite front tire, but are just too blocky in the rear. The IRC Kujo(wire bead) in 2.35 front/2.25 back has been probably the best all-around combo I've found for my riding conditions. I am willing to trade some weight for a beastly sidewall, but would like to keep total tire weight ~1100gm. Is it possible?

I have a 2.3 intense FRO on the back of my hardtail, it's really soft (wears out fast) but grips like mad.

As for the white tigers, they are crap in the front but they hook up pretty well in the back. Mine wore out in the back within 10 rides, my old front was about 50% at the time.

I currently have a timberwolf in the front- good for soft corners, BAD on anything hardpacked, and a 3.0 Kujo in the back- it's big, and braking kicks major ass with a 3 inch tire.

Edit- I forgot to mention that white tigers SUCK on logs unless they are completely dry (both tires and the log). Many injuries were caused by this combination.
