I saw somebody driving a very nice Porsche on the interstate with their foot resting on the brake. Because it was backlit by the rising sun, I could just see the first wisps of smoke coming off of the pads. It looked like they were "being careful" with someones car.
Have to leave back to Dakar a day early because the Sensgalese have decided hat Canadians now need to have visas. Gotta beat the grace period! What a load of shi!t.
Oh well. I'll get to leave it all behind one day earlier...
I don't usually check in on the GMTs, but I know you are all waiting on the edge of your chairs to wish me a happy birfday tomorrow, but I won't be here, so now's your chance....
'squeeb: congrats.
IAB: good luck. wear pants.
Peach: I thought the Senegal project was completed?
Angus: did you post while doing handstands on the beach?
Many lightnings and rains on last evening's ride... was properly soaked by the end. The good news is, I've never ridden these particular trails with So. Much. Traction. Good morning, I also say unto thee.

Howdy all. Finally got the computer fixed (by a local repair place), thus in part explaining my absence from these parts, along with 8-6 hours + an ~hour e-bike or bus commute each way.
Something probably got jostled while it was being moved across the country, and the motherboard shorted against the (metal) case. They reassembled it without replacing parts and it all seems to work now.
