About 36 hours into a pretty severe headache. Trying to figure out at what level to seek some medical attention. Hope it's not the hematoma reasserting itself.
Up at 5. Did the Y thing. First day of kindergarten for kiddo. She is stoked. Bus should be here in 20 min.
Will make an appearance at my office. Place is a joke, really makes me quite confident in my decision to leave. 1.5 weeks into my notice and “no one” has been told that I’m leaving. I mentioned it to the other commercial/farm agent as I have taken her to a couple customers that she really needs to meet. But we’ve had all damn week to have done this, no reason for it, other than my boss is a complete dipshit.

Garmin gave me a sleep score of 84 last night, which I think is a personal record. It didn't feel like any sort of special night of sleep. I can feel like I slept great and Garmin will score it a 50, then I'll have a lousy night of sleep and Garmin will score it a 75. It doesn't know what the hell it is talking about.
Bus didn’t even tap the brakes at our place. Madelyn burst into tears as she has been looking forward to the bus for quite some time. Thankfully SIL lives a couple miles away and we caught the bus there. Damn driver was clueless that she had missed a kid.

Last weekend for the kid before school restarts, so I'm skipping the usual exercise regimen and just doing stuff with her. It's kind of nice, actually. I am getting a haircut later today just so the wife will get off my back.

Sometimes I love/hate my job. As still a noob, is it a bug, or did I fuck something up? Spending 2-3 days troubleshooting, rehashing, reconfiguring. Have the dev monitoring the system and he says "restart both client and server". He meant our kernel, I took it as machine. Reboot both boxes, literally nothing changed, works just fine.

The IT guy at my first job had a very distinct raspy voice (medical issue I was told) and often when you’d call him about an issue he’d simply say “reboot” into the phone and nothing else. I can still hear his voice in my head anytime the word reboot comes up.

Afternoon. Got the update I didn't want from the bodyshop....the work didn't take so they need to replace the panel (which they should have just done to begin with) so another 2 weeks without my car. This time, they are giving me a rental so I am driving a Toyota Rav4 for now. Grrr.....I just want my car back and I hope that damn deer is as inconvenienced as I am!
