I brought a white boy who is whiter than I am.
Evening trail ride on the Thuper Awethum trail and once again had the place to myself.
Came around a corner to find a pine tree diagonally lodged between several other trees at head level. Did a nice flat track slide with my head tucked down. Yikes.

Took the g/f for her first MTB ride ever. She rode my 29er, I rode the Heckler....go figure....the 28 year-old endurance runner TOTALLY dropped me on the climb(s) up. Whoddathunk? She even had to wait for me a few times..... I still kicked her ass on the descent....and that's what REALLY matters....
I read that as she's been running for 28 years.Way to sneak that in there.
