has anyone else ever broken their front axel? and if so how long did it take you to get a new one? I've been out since july waiting! My hometown shop has phoned shimano and kona and they both don't a one for my bike!

10mm axle or a 20mm thru-axle? A standard 10mm should be EASY to get and replace on a standard cup/cone hub...

dude, what shop do you go to? It took Full Boar all of 2 seconds to give me a new front axle.

Dude, ebay or used or new-buy the same hub you need. Scavenge the axle and put it in your wheel. When the replacement part comes, slap it in the donor hub, lace it into a wheel, and now you've got a spare to bring along on weekend/races.
