Confirm my suspicions. I bought a fork and it came with a wheel.I quickly figured out the wheel had an issue. The wheel wobbled side to side like their was no tomorrow, so i tightened the lock nuts on the outside of the hub and the wobbling appeared to go away. Now when land a jump or drop i heard a clank sound also there is play in the front of my bike. It isnt the headset, its the wheel wobbling it seems axel is tight

Could it be wheel bearings are shot? That is my idea.

Sounds like your bearings are shot. It's pretty easy and cheap to replace bearings in a front hub so you should be good to go.

Sounds good. I plan to buy new bearings. That was my suspicion that they were shot. Will look into how much new bearings are now.
