Hey...
Just got a near-new set of FSA x-drives. Not too familiar with setting up cromo cranks, but I know the basics. I'll be installing these in 2 months or so when I get my new frame, but was a bit worried by the lockring which apparently threads over the drive-side cup.
Which side faces outboard, flat or convex? In either position, it refuses to thread on properly. Shows signs of cross-threading just after engaging, yet I can't find any damaged threads.
Anyone have a similar problem? I have enough time to order a new cup or lockring, I suppose.
Can anyone give a quick primer on how to set these things up, in any case?
Thx,
MD
