To be fair, Sam Hill did win the overall 1x on a demo, world champs x1 on a demo, and came in 5th overall another time on a demo, in a few seasons wrought with injuries. Hard to blame the bike when you're sitting on an overall title AND a world champ title that you won on that same bike. I think everybody cought up and he simultaneously lost the edge by crashing really really hard and getting shaken a bit.Or here's my theory: The Demo isn't right for every rider, didn't Sam Hill crush the field for years on Iron Horse and really didn't do a heck of a lot on the Demo. Gwin was a top 5 rider on Yeti but his dominance came in 2 years on Trek.
according to gracia, the winner of this race will be whoever is fresh come beep time. i'm going with that. Also, both gwin and minnaar 8 seconds off? ****up? mech? crash? headgames? or did they just both drop off the pace a hell of a lot more then expected?
...Considering that you can earn points for qualifying, I would think they would put in a race run effort...or at least close to it.
i spent the last few seasons thinking the same thing only to be told over and over again i was wrong. i think i was.50 points.
Hahahahaha Claudio is hilarious.still one of the best parts about racing season :

my take is this is sooooo 20 posts ago...http://wideopenmag.co.uk/news/19003/trek-world-racing-unleash-the-hot-box-what-do-you-think
I say that Whiteley is trying to sell his excrement for gold again.
I say that this move has far more effect off the track than on the track.
What is your take? Discuss.
this!according to gracia, the winner of this race will be whoever is fresh come beep time. i'm going with that.
I don't know if Gwin gives a hoot, but Minnaar lost at least one years overall because of poor qualifying results in recent memory. I'm pretty sure he cares about winning qualifying.or maybe they're less concerned with trying to win quali?
Best used on a Demo where moar crowns/seatstays is always better.I dont get it...

Kevin Aiello's bike. Apparently he can feel a noticeable increase in fork stiffness. He also rides 650b and has never had a meaningful result. I'm sure Quinton Spalding will chime in shortly with something like "It's the future you ****ing idiots!"
the ever-elusive triple crown.
guys, guys, guys, you're all wrong. it's still a dual crown, they are just running both crowns on top you silly.
the ever-elusive triple crown.
So 650b and that extra tall top crown, must be sky scraper tall handlebars!Kevin Aiello's bike. Apparently he can feel a noticeable increase in fork stiffness. IIRC, Kevin is sky scraper tall, something like 6'6. And he is faster than me, so maybe he is on to something. So 650b and that extra tall top crown, must be sky scraper tall handlebars!
as in 6'6 isnt very tall? or that he isn't 6'6? Thought i read that somewhere..He's not that tall
He's not 6'6". I ran into him while shuttling once. Nice kid.as in 6'6 isnt very tall? or that he isn't 6'6? Thought i read that somewhere..
I doubt it's actually that tall. He's running fairly flat bars there, 1" rise at most. Stem is a pretty slammed style too. The whole double crowns with a super short headtube and lots of steerer tube spacers probably just make it seem/sound tall.So 650b and that extra tall top crown, must be sky scraper tall handlebars!
nope. They show womens, then top 30 mens. we no longer get the full feed. just looking on uci live timing to see results. My feed starts in 5min, am i doing it wrong?
