Hello all

working from Highlands Ranch today, which means long drive but free food in doctors lounge

I stayed up past midnight playing Gran Turismo 7. I like it. :)

Amasa Back trails have some silly running race going on tomorrow.

I blame IAB and his ilk.

I apparently left a cup of linseed oil on my workbench from my last wheel build. It has not fully polymerized, and is thicker than what's in the can, so it shall be used.

Holy shit. a house up the street on the same size lot as mine , 10,000 sq ft but only a 1260 sq ft home sold for $1,350,000 my house is 1700 sq feet and I paid 500K for it ten years ago and I owe less than 300k. I could probably get 1.5 million for it and it would sell in about a week around here. nucking futz

So, how big are the taxes? I pay ~$13/$1k, which is getting a bit out of control with the rising estimates.

$425 later, new TLD helmet and LEATT inbound. Because as @kidwoo says, choose 2. Hopefully my goggles haven't stretched out because they're old. That's more money I don't wanna spend.

My friend Drew had a small get together for his birthday last night. Most of the folks there were actually his wife's coworkers. After an hour or so people broke up into two groups, Drew's friends and his wife's coworkers. Wife's coworkers were having conversation on topics like equality in the workplace, his wife walked into our room and asked what we were discussing:
-Toys for kids under 3 are harder to get stuck in your butt
-Whether or not you should consider a dish dirty if you rubbed your balls on it

percent
Proposition 13, adopted by California voters in 1978, mandates a property tax rate of one percent, requires that properties be assessed at market value at the time of sale, and allows assessments to rise by no more than 2 percent per year until the next sale.

I think more than a few of us would be sitting in the doorway between the two rooms comfortably.

Damn, Taylor Hawkins passed away. Been a fan of the Foo Fighters forever, figured they’d be the new Rolling Stones and just sorta go on playing forever. Dude was an animal on an MTB too, bumped into him on the trail a few times, fuck everything about trying to keep up with him

where'd you buy? sounds like a good deal, honestly.
Helmet was through TLD. It was shockingly cheaper than anywhere else.

Collar was moosejaw. Activejunky (9% back) > Moosejaw (20% off & a bunch of store credit). I didn't realize it, but I had almost $60 in store credit there, so used it to save a bunch too.
