We are strongly considering checking out West Yellowstone for a couple weeks next. Please reach out if you pass through SW MT again this go round.
I live in Bozeman but have been /////Fixing up a cabin in Mack's Inn (Island Park ID) where you are more than welcome to park your camper.
It's 2 blocks from terminus of a lazy river float (Henry's Fork from Big Springs --> Mack's Inn)
And <30 mins to some of the best MT/ID CDT rides:
Lionhead (Henry's Mtns) -- PSA: portions threatened to closure.

And Centennial Mtns

We would definitely stick to West Yellowstone and not Bozeman. We're smoke watching before we decide where to go next. Swan Valley right now.Aqi is better in west Yellowstone than BZN at the moment, despite being much closer to the goose creek fire approaching cliff and wade lakes...
In any case SWMMBA and the Backcountry horseman did their annual horses carry chainsaw to the top of the pass and fatbikers ride the chainsaws down and cleaned EVERY INCH of the Lionhead last weekend...

If driving from nw area this trail is really fun:
My favorite big ride in BZN is Blackmore to Cottonwood in Hyalite (11ty billonty times better than IMBA classic "bangtail" if you ride for views...)
And nothing beats homestake pass (just east of Butte) for i90 corridor riding.
PM me when you have dates, I'm 50/50 between BZN and Island Park but making a quick RT to SLC this week.
My shitbox is 2 blocks off Henry Fork lazy river float terminus at Macks Inn and have SUPs and kayaks to share for off (bike) days.
Mi casa su casa, prost!
I can see the pics. What the hell happened to all my posts in this thread, the pics are all gone!
I see it. I'm looking now.@binary visions can you take a look? Heidi is right, all of her pics seem to be missing.
New pics are being uploaded as attachments. The links to her blog pictures are still broken. I'm trying to replicate it to see if there's something broken on the RM side but have been having trouble getting it to reliably replicate.new pics showing, pics from earlier still missing for me

Still poking around at it but my day job has temporarily interrupted my troubleshooting
I think it might be an issue with an update to Chrome, blocking all rendering of HTTP from HTTPS pages. I can load the images in Safari just fine. But I was doing some testing in my test forum I was getting some HTTP images to load so I'm not 100% certain yet.Is this a security issue? Most if not all the blog pictures URLs protocol is http, not https.
I just turned on image proxying for the forum, just for you@binary visions yes it's an option for a fee. I really only post to FB and Instagram which obviously is just uploading so I don't know if it is worth it.
Thanks for trouble shooting!
What a guy.I just turned on image proxying for the forum, just for you
This will cause Ridemonkey to download and serve up the images using our HTTPS, but if someone clicks on the image they'll still be taken through to your blog.
Should be all fixed now.
Just for http-sourced images or for all img tags?I just turned on image proxying for the forum, just for you

I can't filter it without access to server resources that I don't have access to. So it's proxying all images now. Which is fine, storage is cheap, and the proxied images can be purged or set to expire if they start taking up too much space.Just for http-sourced images or for all img tags?
It's a valid concern. The answer is we don't know. I'm more concerned about having to live somewhere where I ride the same trails all the time. I can't imagine that.@Heidi you two have been on the road for almost 3 years. How will you ever go back to being wage slaves?
Welcome back, stranger!Whoa, over a year since I've been on here. Still living on the rode. Currently heading south slowly.
Here's our ride from the other day.
