I think this is the GMT?? Wife got up super early to go for a lake swim, so I got my run done early. 7 miles of humid, bug-infested bullshit. I ditched my shirt halfway through the run because it was soaked and dripping from sweat.

No meetings on my work calendar today, which I believe is actually the first time in the month I've been working for these guys that I don't have a meeting scheduled.

went for a run yesterday. running sucks.

@StiHacka happy to do thunder with you, sorry to hear about your work foibles. Been craving some DH lately, and I think it's possible to appropriately socially distance while doing it. what is your schedule like? will inquire with the wife whether she won't have a conniption if I go...

Working 2:30-10 or so this evening. Thus I am enlisted to herd babies at the social distanced water park this morning.

Morning Monkeys.

Got the rear wheel hubs swapped out on the car yesterday. When I did it the first time, I thought "I will never have to do this again..." This is the third time in 2 years. OE bearings went 140k. Corvette guys said Timken bearings are the best. Not even 12k miles. Detroit Axle has a 10 year warranty! They lasted not even a year? Maybe 10k miles. Swapped the warranty replacements and I will get this bitch sold in 2 months.

Got a sweaty ballz ride in early. This weather is MAKING ME THIRSTY.

Progressing nicely on those cabinet doors. Paint should go on as soon as this hot and humid stretch is done.

when my FIL passed away i got my pick of all his tools (a lot of woodworking stuff). he had a full sized upright drill press, which i regret not taking despite not having the space for it.

Made an amazing breakfast burrito.
Egg, elk sausage, green chile + a pinch of cheese.

I sense Thursday is downhill from here.
ooooh that sounds good.
Ive been doing breakfast tacos all week but now I want an elk and green chili b-fast burrito.

HVAC monkeys: are there any circumstances under which a thermal expansion valve can't be replaced by itself and the whole evaporator core would need to be replaced with it?

My own world inside my head
Been destroying myself with proper food, portion control, work out, high intensity hiking, weight packs, exhaustion training....... tried to kill myself camping/hikung/fishing last week.... seriously over did it.......

Gonna get back to the groove today on a good intense hike, 10 more weeks of this before archery season opens and its all about filling the pack with an elk and a 50 mile day getting it out...........

Down 30 pounds though, and feel good

at the very least we're gonna need to wait until both kids are off to college.
At least you have a plan.

As the majority earner (75/25), the financial planner, and the one not popping out kid and staying home with it cause I don't make enough to go back to work but that's okay cause I want to start a home business doing whatever the flavor of the week is, I just get to play buzzkill and say that the house is nice but we can't afford it.

Still gotta save for a rainy day, house repairs, job loss, college, and retirement you know.
