Somewhat analogous to our attempts to work with Vermont Fish & Wildlife up here. Less open hostility, but minimal cooperation. They are focused on enhanced slaughter of wildlife.

Yeah, they're funded mostly by ammunition sales. That said, number of hunting licenses issued in Vermont continues to decline.

I don't know man. I've been riding in mass my entire life, and have NEVER run into a land access issue. This is pretty close to where I live, but I've never ridden there. It sounds completely ridiculous. From the story, it seems like someone pissed off someone at the DCR via email, and this guy isn't letting go. Suck situation, but definitely not indicative of Mass trail access, IMO.
