Hey guys. I'm building up a Transition Trail-Or-Park frame within the next month or so. For $250, you can get the Funn 36 hole 26 inch wheelset with a 20mm Funn Baby Bertha front hub, and a Hura Gura rear hub.

What do you guys think of this wheelset? I haven't heard much about it before, so I figured I'd talk to you guys before I purchase them, if I decide in doing so.

The wheelset will be going on a hardtail, and I'm on the heavier side, it will be an all around freeride bike. Drops ( to tranny ), trailriding, skatepark, urban, jumping, launches. As I said, an all around freeride wheelset to go on a hardtail.

How do you think this wheelset will hold up? It will have Maxxis Highroller ( 2.5's ) mounted onto them. As of now, I've been riding Singletracks, and they're holding up well. But for my new bike I'm going to get a new wheelset as it's a good price I think and I need a new front wheel anyways.

Please let me know what you think.

I don't have any experience with the FUNN, but as far as budget wheelsets go, the Azonic Outlaw is hard to beat. They use a nicer free hub than most that looks like it should be much more durable than a shimano. That has always been the bain of cheap hubs. Reasonable weight too.
The rear also has a 12mm bolt on solid steel axle. I made it fit my hardtail by filing the dropouts slightly wider. Super beef rear end.
