From the debate last night:
"The issue shouldn't be who you sleep with, but whether or not you have a job when you wake up in the morning!"
(On gay marriage)
I didn't watch the debate (never do). Saw it as a soundbite on the news.

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
I didn't think it was a funny quote at all.

I thought it was very insightful and directly to the point about what should be important to our leaders. Hopefully it is a call to get the eye back on the ball as opposed to this silly useless side issue.

He gets a thumbs up from me for once.

But on the flip side the FEC (Federal Elections Commission) is all over him about donations and other oddities.

I also thought that the quote was dead-on. I still have not made up my mind about gay marriage, but at the very least support a civil unions bill.
I agree that "jobs in the morning" is a far more important issue.
