nasty you dirty little boy.
Man i had this pic of Johnny T on the podium that proved either he was well endowed or very excited about winning that race.

I think those guys wear spandex so they can show off their package to people, since no one will ever see it out of the spandex!!! :dancing:

Most of the kids on the US U23 national road team could beat 99% of the kids on this board in a DH race....

I am going to have to call BS on that. This board is full of fast pro and semi-pro level DH racers. I don't think they could hang unless they put quite a bit of time on the dirt riding down technical terrain.

How many roadies have you gone mountain biking with? Most of the guys I used to train with when I raced road bikes in college would spend more time on the ground than on their bikes once they got into the woods.

Have you ever seen footage of that 1999 race in vail with lance armstrong taking off after the start only to eat sh!t as soon as he got to the single track (and the first rock/root something)? Of course he's already reached about 60mph from leg power at that point........

I've gotta wonder if those shadows aren't exaggerated a bit via photo chop. Cuz believe me sweetheart, I've spent alot of time around sweaty guys in spandex through rowing and road riding, and I don't ever recall that degree of uh........prominence. Maybe I was just not looking in the right place.

Owww! Owww! Can't stop laughing.....wooowwoooohhhhhhh! Oh, I'm cryin'. Make it stop..... funny stuff. :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

OK. So basicly what you're saying is....they only dangle on dirt??? :sneaky: :sneaky: :sneaky:

OK...in keeping with the theme...anybody see the cover of Velonews with Tyler Hamilton leaning through a turn. He seriously looks like he has 2 or 3 Polska Kiolbasa stashed downtown. It looks way, way, WAY more frightening than that roasted acorn festival you posted. That photo of Hamilton would make you want to stand behind a glass barrier to shake hands with him!

Oh, and last thing...I took one look and said..."Whoa...more Wangs than a Chinese phonebook!" But to the ones of you contrasting shape, size, placement, etc.....go back to reading Cosmo.

hey, i skipped right to the second page since seeing the first two pics once was enough :dead: . also, just for future reference/in case you use it in print, it's "bona fide." of course, if you were making an off-color reference to bone-i-fied people then i retract my english advice :D

Take a look at the names of the kids who are on the team, and then look at NCS results from the last 2-3 years.
Among the kids is Saul Raisin, who was a perennial top 5 Jr. xc racer, Kevin Bouchard Hall, who has a pro XC license, and I'm sure the Burlington crew can probally attest to the fact that he can handle a bike something fierce, and Matt Crane, another XC racer.
Bike racers are bike racers, and most really good racers started racing on the road 3-4 seasons ago when mtb racing collapsed. The transition from top XC racer to top DH racer should take 1/2 a season at the most, although in some cases it's an overnight kind of thing.

I'd agree with that statement IF it was made 5-7 years ago when A) XC courses were still truly "cross country" and B) DH courses were much tamer and featured much more pedalling.

I agree and also would add that the top drawer XC racers have phenominal ascending skills that the average "trail" rider" doesn't.

Can't someone post a pic of a female racing team sporting some 'toe?
