Three soldiers were on a road going from Basra to Baghdad when they came across a badly wounded, unconscious Iraqi insurgent in the ditch. Right across the road from the Iraqi was a badly injured, but still conscious Marine. While the soldiers were helping both men out, one of them asked the injured Marine what happened.
He said, "Well I was heading north up this road when I met that Iraqi. I aimed my gun towards him and yelled, 'Saddam is an asshole.' Then he yelled back to me, 'Bush is an asshole.' So we were standing there in the middle of the road shaking hands when a truck hit us."
