Hey all,

I am looking for Intense G1 27.5 dropouts for Tracer 2 or Carbine that were used to convert these models to 27.5. Intense is out of stock of them for ages now: https://eu.intensecycles.com/collections/intense-replacement-parts/products/dropout-kit-g1-142-carbine-29
Does anyone have a set floating around? If yes, could you please get me the measurements so I can try to make them/have them made? Cheers!

Probably a dumb question but I don't suppose you have the 26er dropouts do you?

Yes, I have the 26" dropouts and they are on the bike right now. But to lower/slacken it I want to use the 27.5 ones with a 26" wheel.

I was gonna say if you're able to have them made, move the axle back and up the appropriate amount to fit a 27.5 wheel.

That is exactly what I am trying to find out. Otherwise I just wing it and move it up so that the 26" wheel will fit and slackens the bike.

Sometimes, I like to just make it if I can’t get an engineer to tell me where to put the hole. If the hole isn’t in the right spot then I make another one with a different hole. Pretty easy if you give yourself room to make more than one.

Now after I started drawing the dropouts Intense has them in stock again. Because I have limited time right now (and I rather ride the bike in the nice weather we have) I broke down and ordered them. Enough other DIY/house/garden/trail building projects to keep me entertained.

A little disappointed by how little the dropouts change the geometry. If you really use them to put 27.5 wheels on the bike you increase your BB height quite a bit.
