Anybody know how the heck to get the smell of Garlic or Onions off my hands?

I've taken 2 showers and washed my hands numerous times and I still can't get the smell of garlic out of my finger tips from cutting it up yesterday.

Stainless steel works best. And yes, if you have a stainless sink, it works but the trick is hot water. Just keep your fingers out of the garbage disposal!

Just to add something to this thread....I cut an onion up the other night and my hand smelled like onions pretty bad. I noticed that one still smelled the next day. I washed them like 5 times and it didn't seem to do much. I was taking a shower that day, lathering up the hair and I, at that moment, wondered if my hand still smelled. I wasn't really thinking, I guess, and I put my hand up to my nose and took a big whiff. In the process, I took in a huge clump lather and bubbles into my nose. My brain hurt for about 2 hours.

Why on earth would you want to get rid of that smell.
