Well, been doing a ton of running in addition to cycling. I got sick of looking up my routes on Google Maps so I got a computer, now I'm back to square one, back on effing google maps trying to see how far I went. I've recently gotten certified as a spin instructor and wanted to step up my game with a heart rate monitor with classes and training as well. Anything that does anymore than basic live heart rate is up there in price so I was considering getting a Garmin and just integrating everything into one unit.

~$200 gives me a bike mount, cadence, and HRM. I can run w/it, I can do HRM in the gym, and such.

This one is smaller, much smaller, but a little more money which isn't a huge deal.

Not sure that I'd buy from Amazon, I'd give a local shop a chance to come close but it's easier to browse on amazon or the like for info without wasting someone's time.

Long story short, is this a POS, should I look at other brands, should I look at other models, should I shave my legs? (J/k on the last one) I just don't have any experience with any devices like this. I could use iMapmyride on my phone, but I don't always carry it jogging, don't want to eff with apps and 3rd party straps on my bike, can't hold my phone and look @ a glance for info

thanks
-Zac
