Gayness doesn't work, not physically and not mentally. It says so in the bible (can't remember the verse but give me time). And moreover these people are trying to get privilages that are supposed to be sacred promises to God and each other. They push their agendas in schools now, just the other day I heard something about encouraging gayness in children (to help them explore) just another concoction of the liberal media. God help us all.
You're blurring the lines between church and state. Marriage is a legal binding contract between two people, God does not have to be involved on any level for a marriage to happen (men and women do it all the time). So if a man and women don't give their "sacred promise to God"...are they any less married? Don't think so! So shouldn't be any different for someone who's gay. (And just for the record, yes "gayness" does work physically and mentally, talk to a few gay people and you'd know!)
Originally posted by N8 I think gays should be allowed to marry and they should have to go thru divorce when it doesn't work out... just like regular folk.
So even though a rationale may be "flawed" in one way or another, this renders the statement being made as untrue (even though it in fact may be true)?
Is truth really truth regardless of the way or "agenda" behind the message that relays the truth?

I've been to a gay wedding before - you get the same happy feelings you get at regular weddings. Even if the wedding wasn't recognized by the state it was recognized by the friends and family that were there to witness it. I can't imagine why so many are so vocally opposed to it. Well - that's not true, I love it when people shove the predudices of the morally correct right back down their throats.
