Gazzaloddi G 2.6 Experience?

Anyone have any time on the new-ish Gazzi G 2.6?

Going to be used in dry Utah medium to loose-over hardpackpack to rock-riddled powder conditions. The profile, compound, and knob height/design of the G makes it look like it would excel, but I was wondering if anyone has any first-hand experience with 'em.

Thanks! :thumb:

Man i was just thinking of that tire!
I forgot to add one onto my order today, but will have one to try as soon as it dries out again(snowing today).
I think that tire will be HOT! Love the Minion F,curious if it will wear better and be less squirmy.45 on top,60 underneath.A bit heavier than the old casing i though.1400 vs 1300 for the old 2.6 according to bti-usa.com
UST compatable too.
PS sprung-Bountiful was perfect on saturday, tons of new jumps on Bruce!
Maybe 2 weeks and it will be rideable again.

Thanks Kris! :D I'll call/stop by the shop and get your opinion once things dry out and you get a chance to ride the G. Sign me up for one if you give it a :thumb:!! Definitely looks like a good DHF Minion-alternative. I'd just go with a Minion, but I thought I might like to break out of the lemming-esque line of Utah DH'ers and see if there's a worthy alternative for the DV powder this summer. Glad I'm not the only one that thought the Gazzi-G looked like a possible contender! :)

...Man, I'm jealous. Had to work this weekend, but was  out the window wishing I could be out riding. New jumps?!?! PM me next time you go, especially if you need someone to be last-man-down-the-mountain. :D  Been up at I-Street lately? I've been contemplating sneaking up there sometime...well...once the snow melts now. :mumble:
