Just out of curiosity, how many of you guys have actually bought a moto or MTB specific gear bag? You know, one of those massive guys from TLD, Ogio, Oneal, Fox, etc? I suppose this would be easier with a poll. I will add one.
I've wanted one for awhile. They just seem so expensive and I can steal my girlfriends so I haven't bought one yet. One of these days, she will demand it back.
I also like the laundry basket method. But that wasn't on the poll.
I ordered a TLD SE gear bag back in July and still haven't gotten one. I talked with TLD this morning and the '05s are finally here and I should get mine just in time for my Trip to Mammoth next weekend. So I don't have one yet, but its on its way.

I don't know too many bros with them. I found one at Wal-Mart a few years back that is a big giant piece of lined Cordura that is waterproof. It cost $20.00 and has nice handles on each end and each side and a shoulder strap. I can stick my gear, helmet, bike stand, a pair of TIRES, body armor and my pump in it and still smuggle a midget across the border. The thing holds more than ANY of those offerings.
It was in the camping section and from Outdoor Products(folded up into a little square wrapper on a shelf). The thing has served me too frickin' well. Only reason i went looking for it was that a couple moto buddies had it too. I would reccomend it before any of those expensive ones.
P.S. If you're thinking of whether or not to carry them in your store, sorry for the thread hijack.

I've got the giant Fox one w/wheels (codename: Bagzilla) - it's great for big trips - fits EVERYTHING! - in fact, it encourages overpacking pretty much every time I bring it - spare shocks and derailleurs, tools, lots of clothing options, armor, multiple helmets, a little person to work on the bike....I also bring a spring-loaded net laundry bag that gets the wet disgusting gear at the end of the day
but what would be great is a kayak wet/dry bag for shorter trips - letting gear dry out is key...
