gears on 4x/dj bike

I run a 9 speed road cassette on my geared bikes. I like the close gear ratios, and it saves a bit of weight if that matters to you.

i used to race BMX at hornets nest
and now i am into this
and i just wanna make my bike as light and burrly as posible

No gears. What's the point??? You're jumping, not pedaling up inclines all day.

I have always had good luck with the Dura Ace 11-25 casstees with a 32-38 up front and more recently on my street and skatepark bikes 11-21 with a 27T up front

run a single speed rear hub and pack 4-5 cogs on there. tight 11-22, wide hub flanges for A stong rear wheel.

diff goin with a road casset and 32 in the front
i dun have alot of money so i prob get the new hub father down the line
i just need something good for the time beiin
