The swingarm is a welded hollow-core (The hollow-core design boosts stiffness by 25-30%) pivot with CNC’d forging for precision alignment, strength and weight savings. The chain stays have been 3-D formed and tapered to optimise lateral and torsional stiffness and tuned for vertical compliance that means heavy landing loads will be evenly distributed.
Oohh! That's got "snappage" written all over it!! :D

Doesn't look that bad....i'd rather have a yeti 575 or a bunch of other bikes...but it don't look too bad.

"profit, and leftys blow"

No expirience myself but I've heard the exact opposite.

New leftys feature TPC+ damping and super light weight (4lbs or something).
I've heard others say they are stiffer than 32mm Z1 or sherman and have zero stiction thanks to the needle bearings. The only negative I've heard is that you need to run the boot.

Sounds nice! Really has me double-thinking my Heckler/Maverick plan...

I have some experience riding a Lefty and it was a good fork in 2001 when I rode one. I can only imagine they've improved a bit.

Any pricing info yet?

the cannondale rep is supposed to be coming to our shop this wed. As said in the article it looks like thier going to offer 3 of them. I imagine a 1700-2000$ model, then a 2400-2800$ model then a 3000+$ model as well as the 4x one which if they offer as a complete bike will probably be about 2k id imagine.

Advantages over a heckler-better pivot design and geometry, way lighter 5.2 IBS!! handmade in the U.S.A not just "painted in the U.S.A". Doesn't have the single pivot granny and 3rd ring problems that the heckler had or still has. Lefty fork, the stiffest fork to weight ratio out there with buttery smooth travel.

Difference from the gemini- WAY different pivot location and shock position, Way different swingarm and a lot less beefy. "I know some of you don't consider a gemini beefy but the prophet is a lot lighter.

Overall it looks like a sweet bike ill let u guys no more after the rep comes. Im a little worried about a 5.2ibs trail frame but im sure it will hold up fine..

If anyone cares:

I've got access to a Prophet 1000 ($2600) for the next 2 weeks. I'll post a quick review after a few rides.

Some things I've notices as I built it up.

Lefty has SPV and a coil spring, rear shock is a Swinger 3 way.

Bike with Mavix 819 tubeless rims and Maxxis 2.35 tubless tires feels lighter than a Chase by 3 or 4 pounds.

Nice mocha matte paint.

I don't like Magura brakes.

Seems to have a steep seat angle. This combined with a 0 offset post makes the cockpit feel cramped.
