FYI for any of you considering the new GenX front Derailleur from Sram. Don't be stupid like me and buy one for your AS-X. It will NOT fit. :nuts: The pivot mount is in the way. Shimano's clamp is much lower and will work. :eviltongu

Post it up on Mojo. Those guys can't stand shimano for some reason. If you find someone that wants to swap some XTR 9 speed stuff for my nearly new X9 shifters and X0 rear, let me know.

More specifically you're picturing a top-swing Shimano derailleur that works. I'm sure the bottom-swing Shimano wouldn't work if that Sram doesn't.

SRAM will be realeasing a "top swing" style derailleur in January I believe

Then no more Shimano NICE...I actually use both......shhhhhhhh
