I'm usually an ale guy, lagers never did much for me. That changed last weekend when these delights crossed my tongue.
Weihenstephan Original and Ayinger Jahrhundert
I was concerned at first when the color and smell reminded me of something mass produced in America. The taste however was something completely different. A very nice hoppiness without being overly so, followed by a slight malt taste, and finishing with a slight sweetness. Highly recommended.
