This is awesome!

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jack McClellan, the pedophile blogger who moved from Southern California to Portland this summer, says he won't be spending the winter in rainy Oregon.

McClellan said the treatment he received last week from Portland's transit police forced him to return to the Los Angeles area.

Though McClellan claims he is sexually attracted to young girls, he said he has never molested one. He started a Web site that advises other pedophiles about the best public places to watch young girls, such as parks and libraries. Outrage over it led McClellan to be hounded out of Washington and California earlier this year, and gained him national notoriety.

Choosing to move to Portland, he cited its reputation as a "haven for offbeat people." But in a cell phone interview with The Oregonian on Monday, McClellan said he's done with the city.

The incident that pushed him south occurred last week, when police boarded a bus to check passengers' fares.

McClellan, who said he had a valid November monthly pass and a Medicare card verifying his right to a discounted fare, claimed police insisted he had to get off the bus with them because he did not also have a "TriMet honored card."
He said the transit police took him to an office, where they gave him some pizza.

Then "all of a sudden they say, 'Look we know who you are ... and we know that you say transit is a good place to watch girls,'" he said.
McClellan said he admitted to riding TriMet for long stretches to stay warm, a violation of transit-system rules. But police also said they knew from reading his Web site that he uses illegal drugs. As a result, McClellan said, the transit police told him he was banned from riding for 60 days.

TriMet spokeswoman Mary Fetsch confirmed that officers cited and banned McClellan for misuse of public transit and for possession of a controlled substance.

"It's not a typical approach" for police to cite a person for a crime they knew of only by reading a Web site, she said. But she added that the agency believes it has the authority to take such action, even without finding drugs on McClellan.

With the 60-day suspension looming, McClellan said he decided to head to a warmer climate.

"I couldn't see myself standing out in the cold with no transport," he said.

I know you like my nikes.

So anyway.............

1. Sounds like a bit of harassment. Funny but still harassment. Harassment I endorse, but still.......

2. Hey dumbfuk, 'dear diary' is still okay to keep on paper beneath your pillow and not on the world wide (yes, literally) web. Since stupidity is still not an arrestable offense, thanks for the ammo.:)

I agree that you could consider it harassment. But the fact is he has made it public that he does things in public that are questionable and even though he hasn't committed a crime (or hasn't been caught) yet, doesn't mean he won't.

I would say a preemptive strike is justified in this case.

Dude isn't going to be homeless for long. This may actually be a brilliant strategy to set up a lawsuit. All you have to do is not mind people thinking you're a pedophile...
