That really sucks to hear. Trying to look at the bright side though, I bet now that Noel has some downtime though, you will probably see a lot more cool stuff coming from Knolly Bikes next season.

so using your logic, if you get in a crash we will see even more cool stuff come out of Evil/E13 stuff like pedals

Best wishes Noel; heal fast, heal well.
I'll add my best wishes to Noel as well - from the sound of it, the stunt he was on was the EXACT one I got knocked out falling from this summer! - my fall was very similar to his (without the snow and wetness to excuse it) - rode the skinny, starting losing my balance - stuck out a foot to counter-balance which kept me rolling, when I got to the point I was about to roll down the big ladder off the stump, I went to put my foot back on the pedal and got pulled off to the right - woke up on the ground not remembering the prior 5 minutes or so - destroyed the rear end of my RFX - killed my brake, sheared thru my CK hub - it was a really good time :nopity:

Noel, I know you get on here once in a while, heal up well....

Ouch, that sounds nasty.

Noel did ride the stunt okay but bought it in the turn at the bottom.

There is a reason I ride around these things.

I was having a pretty good trip up in the Great White North - a day on The Shore, followed by a couple of days in Whistler and another day on the Shore after that - it was on the last day, 5hrs before getting back on the plane to LA - so destroying the back end of my bike wasn't too bad - at least it didn't ruin my trip...my fall on Clownshoes the day before (my derailuer hanger was ripped in half and I didn't know - went to pedal on the curving ladder right before the Clown Shoes drop and was cross chained - yanked me right off the ladder and my shoulder went into a woodpile - 1st degree shoulder separation - just took vike and kept riding - BC is too damn fun to give up)

that stunt on UOC is tough...and it's a long way down from where I fell...

I was so woozy that on the ride back to the hotel I drove full speed through an intersection's red light - didn't even notice...

Speaking of not riding, Man, are you healed up yet or what?
I'm getting there... my hands & wrists are about 95% and my knee is probably at 60-70% ... i can ride for a few miles at moderate effort w/o too much pain... I'm starting an exercise program this week - should be good to go by spring.

all i need now is a bike! :D
