Getting bearings out doesn't take much finesse. Pressing them back in is where you need to be careful.
If there is an aluminum axle inserted through the bearing, tap on one end of that. It should push the opposite bearing out.
If there is only a tube spacer between the bearings, push it aside and tap on the inner race of the opposite bearing. Be sure to hit points all around the race so it comes out evenly. It'll never come out cock-eyed.
Don't tap on anything aluminum with a metal implement. Use a block of wood or a rubber mallet as a buffer.
