I want to get a bike frame shipped from the UK to AZ.

Any tips on how to do this in such a manner that I don't get absolutely raped on shipping charges? Right now its looking like $250 in shipping, which makes this Casey Anthony level lame.

Any suggestions?

I bought a frame from a company in Australia a few years back. It came with the rear triangle removed and was shipped as "misc bike parts".......

Might be an option?

Chain reaction uses Royal mail for their cheapest shipping right (this is handed off to the USPS)? They also use UPS and DHL.

When you got your quote, did you ship to a business or to your house? Usually shipping to your business is a little bit cheaper.
