In the bathroom, fighting a battle
I tried a search and came up with nothing. I have a buttload of videos (.mpg, .mov, .avi ect) that I want to put onto my iPod, but can't figure out how. I don't have the owner's manual either, becausee it's an ipod and I didn't need the instructions. I'm running OSX and Itune 7.1.

Stink, Fraiser, Toshi, other Mac users, help me out.
Syadasti, don't bother posting.

I convert mine using compressor (came with final cut studio). There is a bunch of utilities you can use though that work really well. Videora has a good ipod converter (pc only i think though).

My favorite app besides compressor is called visual hub. www.techspansion.com/visualhub It will do video for ipod, apple tv, psp and about a zillion other formats. The presets for the portable devices rules. Makes it essentially a one click application. It even works with xgrid!
