I'm sitting here at this building, waiting for a contractor to show up. As the day is now half over, I text him and asked if they're still coming. He responds saying that they came yesterday and finished the work, which my fellow team members helped with.
But at no point did the two people that assisted mention to me that the work is done, so don't waste your time driving here (reference my 1.5 hour drive this morning). And same to the dude that is now sitting at the building where I usually go.
I also mentioned in a call this morning that I'm sitting here waiting for the contractor and again, they didn't mention that the work was already done.

it would piss me off being a grown up and yet have the immune system of a new born...but then one guy who calls in sick a lot called in sick. so I'm covering his shift in the afternoon. hmph. (it'll be accounted for in the end at least.)
