Does anyone know the general availability of the new VT1s? ( I believe they were supposed to be released this month. )

they had a large at local shop (arts in SLO) a couple of weeks ago so they are out there...

ya its thier "trail bike" going after spec enduro, trek liquid, sc heckler type bikes

I contacted the PR man for Giant and haven't heard back on availability just yet.

I rode the VT1 at Interbike and thought it was a nice bike for an all-around trailbike.

My only complaints were:

- RockShox fork (can you say, NOODLE!!!)
- Rims could be stronger (nice tubeless ones though!)
- Needs wider tires

I guess I'm just a freeride junky and will put up with more rolling weight. This bike would be alot more fun with a Marzocchi Z1 and wider tires.

yea actually, mine VT is coming next week. and i'm pulling the Discs and Fork off and putting on Minis and the new Z1 SL. i'll see about the wheels after a couple rides. but its a really good deal price wise
