Well I decided to find a good xc fully and because I work in a bike shop I'm kind of limited to what I can get if I want to utilize my beni's... I'm considering the '04 Giant VT2. I currently have a Giant DH comp but unlike my last freeride bike this is totally downhill only and so I need to get something to clock some miles on. Anyone have a VT? What's your opinion of them? One of the guys in the shop just got one and they look super nice for trail riding! I'm not going to be racing, and I'm far from in shape(the point of getting a xc bike) so the 28lbs they weigh is no biggie! I just want something to go exploring with and to have a great time with. I could always sell the front fork(minute 1) if it's not worthy of riding but the frame and the rest of the stuff seems pretty nice for xc?
