I say no because they are different sports the helmets are designed to handle impact differently. I do not believe the requirements for a snowboard helmet will match the impact requirements for mountaing bike helmets. It would be best to contact Giro about this. I would like to know what they say. BTW, that is sweet looking helmet.

I don't know........I've cracked my head on rocks in both sports but I do seem to be going faster on the snow usually. Based on that I would say it might be better for top/rear/side impacts.

Oh yeah, they get really smelly and have to be pressure washed to clean the padding. Maybe they really are just for the cold :p .
