It's been a bad couple of years, for sure.
Maybe I'm naive, or whatever, but I really hope that this year is better, and keeps heading that direction.

On a side note, there are few things more fun than watching/cheering a local race. That's true cycling passion.

pfffft, try two decades. The same crap we're hearing now, is what we heard after the Festina scandal in '98 and its been going on since the late 80s. Its obvious nothing has changed from then to now. I think things will improve becuase teams are starting to take the initiative (CSC, Slipstream). Now they just need to clean up the other side of the doping problem, the anti-doping establishment.
