We made it up the Going to the Sun about 10 miles and then had to turn around. The snow was accross the road and the road was in bad shape. Glacier Park is beautiful this time of year.

This was a little scary to walk accross in road shoes with smooth bottoms and clips.

The road was in rough shape but no flats. I couldnt believe it.

Looks like there are some delays in getting the road open this year.
How was the descent? were the roads good enough to charge it.

Ya, if you had a DH bike. I was on my road bike and thought I was going to die. There were a few places you could get up to about 40mph, but you had to be careful.

Ive been here all my life. I was trying to move to B-ham but the wife wont do it. If I was single, Id be gone.



I hear Glacier got 12-24" of snow the last couple days. The Going to the Sun Hwy wont be open for awhile now.
