I've recently just brought a pair of riding shades and i tried them out this morning but after 20 mins if found that they kept steaming up which meant i had to take them off in the end is there any tips or secrets to stop them from steaming up or have i just got to live with it.

Were you stopping just before or while they were fogging up? I've found that mine will only fog up while stopped (like on a group ride for whatever reason). It's never bothered me enough to buy or do anything for it though. I just keep riding :biggrin:

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend moving somewhere drier.

When I pretend to be a swimmer, I spit in my goggles to prevent fogging. The same technique (read: spit) works wonders on my cycling glasses.

I never have a problem with my glasses fogging unless I stop moving. So keep moving.

Ivory soap. (or comparable basic soap, no conditioning/moisturizing/gritty agents etc...)
dry cloth.
rub super thin film of soap on lens.

I can confirm this works, Its an old divers trick, SHine them up with a nice shot of spit on each lense, youll be good to go

Am I doing this wrong? For some reason they still fog up and then I've got spit on my glasses
