I flipped this on, and it was notable to hear two nutbags yell at each other on national tv.

I couldn't watch the whole thing because Glenn Beck makes me sick, but the gist of it was about voter registration fraud.

But during the break, Beck says he was accused being afraid of blacks by the spokesman, and kicked him off the show.

I hope to read the transcript, but it sounds like both guys are batty.

it looks real bad.
No it doesn't. We've been through this before.

1) Acorn is legally required to turn in all registrations, fraudulent or not. So...
2) Acorn pre-screens all the registrations, and highlights which ones it believes are fraudulent.

All of these cases of lawsuits have been brought against the specific workers that have committed registration fraud, not Acorn itself, since Acorn is actually helping the state flag the fraudulent ones.

Finally, a fraudulent registration doesn't equal a fraudulent vote. Dead and non-existent people can't vote.

The more I look into it, the more I agree.

But the Acorn statesman is a bit of an idiot.

I just read the transcript rather than watch the video, and on paper he didn't seem so bad.

What he should say is, "look, the nature of the process invites fraudulent registrations, so Acorn does everything it can to weed these out and we've been a tremendous success: xxx,xxx voters registered and not a single fraudulent VOTE from an Acorn registeree."

How hard is that?

Wow.

I thought I was going to get home from work and watch those videos. I got about halfway through the first one.

Anyone who fondly returns to a glen beck show is probably has an affinity for gasoline fumes. I mean he's so funny......little puffy paste man who just jiggles when he gets indignant.....I could see that being very entertaining if his voice just turned into nyow nyow nyow nyow.......

And yeah. Like the jew said. Anyone who actually looks at what is happening with acorn and sees anything beyond some dumbshlts lying to get more checkmarks is a moron. Let's not forget, most of these cases were turned in BY ACORN.

Also: Am I the only one getting 'squeal like a pig' thoughts when I watch that freak?

Ask yourself this. If the old white GOP guy won the seat, would your conclusion to your argument be the same?

Just asking.

I just asked myself that... and yes, my answer is exactly the same. Maybe it's because that's completely irrelevent or your jedi logic went over my head.

If the old white guy won, then zero fraudulent votes from Acorn would still be zero fraudulent votes from Acorn. However, even though the old white guy didn't win, Diebold, voter intimidation, and voter DE-registration are still real issues that we've failed to address.

Now that I have read more into Acorn, I understand that Acorn, by law, has to submit all ballots, and they seem to be accurate in marking fraudulent ballots. The Nevada seizure seems to be a political move which result in nothing. I wonder about the felons hired, although I am not sure what the rules are about this.

And this also has to be acknowledged that Acorn is registering a lot of low-income and minority voters. While it is a non-partisan group, that fact puts a clown shop like Fox into a tailspin.

However, from my perspective of a high-confrontation arguer, I think the Acorn dude did a horrible job arguing with Beck. I still can't bear to watch the interview, but the little I saw made them both look like idiots.

I would probably either done an Alan Colmes and meekly make my points and let Beck take his potshots, or tried to trick him on just one point, not start fighting right off the bat.
