I'm tired of looking, but I am taking over the email notification list for the local bike club. Does anyone know what the limit of recipients I can send to? I plan to send about 125 folks. Do I need to split it up? I guess I can do it with Outlook, but I don't like the SBC service remotely. Anybody got any ideas???

I set up an address with gmail, but I don't know how many I can send.

I have already warned people to turn off the curse filter. :D

Nevermind - problem solved

To how many recipients can I address a single message?
You can send a single message to a maximum of 500 recipients. Their email addresses can be distributed among the To:, Cc:, and Bcc: fields.

Why don't you just setup a Yahoo! group?
Because I am not so smart, but I may do it. I may actually set up a google group. Google is more cool than yahoo.

Loco... keep in mind that some ISPs will automatically block (perhaps even blacklist you) if you send out emails with several addresses in the to/cc fields.

For the sake of the people on those lists I hope you have more discipline with the Send button than yo do with the post buttons.

Pretty lazy with email, so I am sure I will show restraint.

If SBC ever blacklists me, I have an answer for them. It will be a lot like Roadrunner or such.
