Late yesterday morning I started getting HTTP 502 errors when trying to use gmail, same behavior across four computers on two different networks.
Managed to send a bitch-o-gram to Google, and gmail started working this morning sometime after 7 AM, continued working until this afternoon when I started getting a popup:
Windows Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://mail.google.com/mail/.
Operation aborted.
Googled that and found a suggestion to use an older interface, https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=1. That works, but bitches "
Your browser's cache is full and may interfere with your Gmail experience."
Somebody at Google flipped the wrong bit someplace.
