A dusting of snow with a little ice this morning. I have decided that I will take the van to ride my bicycle in Florida in two weeks. I know, why Florida…it’s flat, people are crazy, etc. Only because it’s warm and I’m bored..Oh, and today is my birthday. I hate birthdays.
Florida has some nice little networks.

I know most people here hate Florida but I manage to have a good time and enjoy the weather when I am there.

Ah ok you use sugar. No judgement but if drinking with sugar the oat specific taste is less of a problem. Then again I drink milk coffees once a month while my v60s makes 3 coffees per day. Really tempted to finally buy a commendante to have an excuse to buy an osmosis system and buy substance coffee beans but then again I should save as I work in an annoying industry
I don’t generally sugar my coffee but this was a shop special I wanted to try. Normally I gravitate towards the oat or almond because I find it holds up better if I sip it over the course of the morning while I work. My usual was also a quad shot of espresso in the oat/almond in a paper cup. Lately I’ve been getting a double in the glass and drinking it at the shop, and I’m still preferring the oat. The shop I go to uses this

I'm in Yurp so different milk alternatives. For good sweatening solutions i like this weird company that's sold in my local "fancy ingredients shop" since they have lavander honey and yuzu honey.

6ish hours out on the hardtail. Toes need to warm a little before a shower.

Probably a dozen years since I've had the skis fitted to the bike. Tough to stay in them in the snowy sections :D

Foam and tape was a last minute addition given the freezing temps. The thousands of miles I used them for before, never bothered. But didn't fancy the bare metal today.

Important to maintain aerodynamics for those high speed snow slogs.

I have no idea where I am
I pushed a fully loaded shopping cart across a snow/slush covered grocery store parking lot today. Definitely feeling the burn and will have crazy ass fitness by the time I resume my thru hike. Getting some upper body strength training in as well. Cookies won’t bake themselves.

The best cappuccinos I've ever had in my life were in Poland, and I think it's because your guys milk is SOOOO much better. Seriously, the best coffee is in Poland, the wife and I both thought so.

The coffee scene is very strong here too. We don't have any super speciality coffee shops with competition coffee (ok if you have friends you will get it but not for regular custmers) but yeah our milk is on point. I can go to a shop, a chain equivalent of 7/11 and get organic 3.8% non UHT milk without any issues.

Its super easy to get very high quality produce too in Poland. It is a bit ironic how most of the country doesn't see that as awful as communism was in here we are still reaping weird benefits from those times as in less corporatized farming industry, farmers markets having multiple spots in many cities.

Not gonna lie. The only reason why I want to move from Poland is that the movie industry is still ruled by colonial mentality and why you can have a remote high level global position from Sweden or France it's way harder from Eastern Europe.

Otherwise life in Poland is super sweet if you are upper middle class and above. Great food scene. Extremely safe. Decent infrastructure in cities (suburbs are a bit fucked). Reasonable cost of living (though housing is getting out of hand). The only downsides is it's super dark in the winter (15.30 it's dark) and Poles really think America is a great place to live so there is always a risk we will fuck this up.

Shitty breakfast at the lodge while the wife has coffee with a friend downtown before we meet to go to the game.
